In the top bedroom of my house I kept finding dead wasps on the carpet. I had the same thing a couple of summers ago. Could the dead wasps be something to do with the wasp trap? Basically we put some special liquid in it (I suppose it attracts the wasps, but I'm not sure - it says it is for wasp traps), and since Sunday afternoon and on Monday wasps were literally swarming all over the trap and the patio area (BIG MISTAKE!!).Monday night my Mum managed to move the trap (covered head to toe so she wasn't stung) and moved it way up the other end of the garden, to keep them away from the patio and the house. This may be connected to us putting a wasp trap in our garden on Sunday, while we were eating outside. Is there some reason that wasps would be coming in and just dying? The only window that is usually open in the day time, is the bathroom, so that is probably their route of entry (if they aren't already in the house), but why are they just dying? The weird thing is they just appear there, as I have never actually seen any living ones buzzing around !!
I have found 2 on my bed (in the exact same place both times), a couple on the floor, and there have been 3 or 4 dead on the floor in my Mum's room.
